Evening Skills Clinics

Women's Introduction to Ice Hockey Clinic
8 Week Session Mondays at 7:30 pm
Session runs April 26th –June 28st
Note: No class May 3rd and May 31st

Cost: $200 per player per session
Registration Deadline:  April 15th

This class is geared toward beginners.  It covers the fundamentals of skating and the basics of hockey.  The focus is on skills such as stops, starts, edge work, backward skating, crossovers, stick handling and shooting.  No prior experience required.  Each session lasts 1 hour.   The cost of the session is $200.00.  Full equipment is required.  Space is limited is 15 participants.   Participants must be 21 years of age or older. 
Need minimum number of participants or class could be subject to cancellation.

Registration, Cancellation, and Payment Policy
USA Hockey Registration Requirement

Players must be registered with USA Hockey in order to participate in any of our programs.  Players can register online at www.usahockey.com.  A copy of the Registration Conformation must be submitted to the program.
Payment Information
FULL payment is required with application.  Registration is not complete until payment is made.  Checks should be made payable to Chix with Stix, LLC. There is a returned check fee of $25.00. 
Late Registration Fee
There is a $10.00 late registration fee for registration received after the registration deadline.
Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations for any reason 30 days prior to the start date of a program: There is a non-refundable fee of $25.00.
Cancellations for any reason less than 30 days prior to the start date of a program: There is a non-refundable fee of $50.00.
Players who do not appear for a session, or leave a session on their own, or players who are expelled from the program do not receive any credits or refunds.

Note: We reserve the right to cancel programs if necessary.

Nontransferability of Registration

Registration in one clinic is not transferable to any other clinic.  Participants are only allowed to attend the sessions that they have registered for and cannot substitute or make up missed classes in a clinic in which they are not enrolled without being assessed the required “pay as you go” fee.  Participation on a pay as you go basis is subject to availability.  Participants may not transfer their registration or placement in a class to other participants.

Clinic Placement

We reserve the right to reassign students into different groups, or adjust or combine groups as necessary.

Disclaimer and Waiver of Liability

All participants of the Chix with Stix Hockey Program are required to submit a signed waiver of liabilty with their registration.  Participation in the sport of ice hockey constitutes a risk to of serious injury, including permanent injury, paralysis or death. Participants of the Chicx with Stix Programs voluntarily and knowingly recognize, accept and assume this risk and release Chix with Stix, Boch Ice Center, and East Street, LLC , its employees, coaches, agents, promoters, affiliates, sponsors, event organizers, and officials from any liability therefrom.
